3.1 Applicability<\/b> By accessing the Rajhans Prakashan website (www.rajhansprakashan.in) and\/or placing an order for books or publications, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from transacting on the website. We reserve the right to update this Policy periodically, and customers are advised to review it regularly.<\/span><\/p> \n

3.2 Mandatory Unboxing Video<\/b> Because books are vulnerable to transit damage (such as folded pages, creased covers, or water damage) and handling by third-party courier services, an unboxing video is mandatory for processing any claims regarding damaged, wrong, missing, or misprinted items.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements for Unboxing Video:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

  • The video must begin by showing the sealed package, clearly displaying the shipping label, all outer sides of the parcel, and the complete unboxing process in a single continuous shot with no cuts or edits.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • All books and invoice details inside the package must be clearly visible, explicitly highlighting any damage or discrepancies.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery along with the unboxing video and clear supporting photographs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    3.3 Before Receiving the Package<\/b> Before taking delivery from the courier service:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Inspect the outer packaging for any visible signs of tearing, moisture, or tampering.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • If the parcel appears damaged or tampered with:<\/span>\n

      • Capture clear photographs of the exterior of the parcel.<\/span><\/li>\n

      • Note:<\/span><\/i> Accepting a visibly damaged or tampered parcel limits or voids subsequent claims regarding physical damage or missing books.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        1. Order Cancellation<\/b> Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched from our office\/warehouse. Once an order is handed over to the courier partner, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          • If your order is successfully cancelled prior to dispatch, the full refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Actual credit reflection timelines depend on your bank or payment gateway provider.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Promotional discount codes or vouchers applied to a cancelled order are single-use and will not be reissued.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              1. Returns and Replacements<\/b> Returns and replacement requests apply exclusively to orders placed directly through www.rajhansprakashan.in.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                5.1 Eligible Scenarios for Return or Replacement<\/b> Subject to verification by our support team, a book may be eligible for replacement or refund in the following cases:<\/span><\/p>\n

                • Wrong title or volume delivered (provided the book remains unread, unmarked, and unused).<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Physical damage during transit (e.g., severe cover creases, torn pages, water exposure).<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Manufacturing or printing defects (e.g., missing chapters, blank pages, inverted printing, incorrect binding).<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Missing books from a multi-item order.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Important:<\/span><\/i> Claims for wrong or missing books must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery alongside the mandatory unboxing video.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  5.2 Non-Eligible Scenarios<\/b> A return or replacement request will not be accepted if:<\/span><\/p>\n

                  • The book shows signs of reading, page folding, writing\/highlighting, or any alteration.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • The book is returned without its original packaging, bookmarks, or complimentary inserts (if any).<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • The package was visibly damaged or tampered with at the time of delivery and accepted by the customer.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • The request is submitted after 48 hours from delivery (for physical damage\/missing items) or after 7 days (for printing\/binding defects).<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • The request is due to a change of mind (we do not exchange delivered books for different titles or editions).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Upon verification of an eligible claim, Rajhans Prakashan will process a replacement copy (subject to stock availability) or issue a refund\/store credit at our discretion.<\/span><\/p>\n

                    1. Refund Policy<\/b> Refunds will be issued under the following conditions:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      • If the ordered books are not delivered within 30 days of order placement, excluding delays caused by force majeure or issues outside our control.<\/span><\/li>\n
                      • If your shipping address\/pincode is unserviceable by our logistical partners and the order cannot be fulfilled.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        • Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (such as a wrong, misprinted, or damaged book delivered).<\/span><\/li>\n
